The University of Michigan Museum of Zoology is seeking to hire a Collection
Manager for its Mollusk Division- www.ummz.umich.edu/mollusks/index.html -.
The successful candidate will work closely with UMMZ curators and oversee
upgrading and maintenance of the collection.

Applicants should ideally have a Masters or other advanced degree in Biology
(or in related fields), extensive electronic database and webpage
construction experience, and familiarity with research collections.
Expertise in North American freshwater mollusks is highly desirable.
Anticipated starting date: Winter/Spring 2009. The University offers an
excellent benefits package. Projected salary range: high $30,000s to low
$40,000s.
