Camped at Red River Gorge, Kentucky. Had a great time, weather was fantastic! Did a fair amount of fly fishing for sorry ass stocked rainbows. BUT the highlight was the collecting. All of my family trips, and vacations are centered around fish in one way or another.
Did not keep good records of collected fish, but here is a overview of interesting species.
Redside dace
Blackside darter
Variegate darter (first time I have seen them) What an awesome Etheostoma!
Banded darter
Greenside darter
Rainbow darter
Johnny darter
Emerald darter (these guys look like a banded/greenside hybrid, but with twice the color of either)
Logperch
Silverjaw minnow
Bluntnose minnow
Northern hogsucker
Central stoneroller
Banded sculpin
Mottled sculpin
Brindled madtom
I will get some pics up soon!

Since you are the second person who asked me that, (the first was Mark Binkley) I decided I had better check my ID again, But they are still redside dace. Red River gorge is in Wolfe, and Menifee county KY.

There is a disjunct population of redside dace in the area.
