I was cleanning off an old laptop today and stumbled across this little gem of a picture. It is of horrible quality, an underwater Kodak disposable, I had the camera far too close, the current was ripping, and the specimen was beat up. So who wants to offer up a guess at what this snail is? It is from the upper Tennessee River drainage. That's all the info that can be shared because it is a very rare species.

I think I see some knobs... could it be Io fluvialis?
