This will be the first edition after the transition from Editor Chris Scharpf to Jim Clark. I know that the copy is nearly complete and should be to the editors shortly if it is not already there. Unfortunately, Jim had a bout of illness that delayed his work a bit so the release will be delayed some. Keep an eye out for it in the next month and please let Jim know how he is doing. In addition, everyone needs to keep the articles and notes flowing his way. This makes the job of an editor SO much easier.

NANFA members receive "American Currents" as part of the membership and people who have not yet joined can purchase individual copies here from this page.

You joined about a month ago. Haven't you received an "American Currents" yet?
If not, just give me a yell and I'll send you the most recent issue.

well its been some time now.look forward to getting my mail soon.
i joined back in sept.2008
will all member be getting there back issues due to them?
or just this years run of two late issues.
has my addy been lost in the shuffle?can we still get back issues

You should be receiving the first 2009 issue soon. I received mine just the other day. And yes, everyone will be receiving all back issues.

I got mine a couple of days ago, and as I hear tell there's another about ready to go to press. This last one was part 5 of Chris' checklist of NA fishes - probably one of the most important documents we have ever published.

I just wanted give a, "Thanks man!", to Chris Scharpf for putting the latest issue together and allowing us to get it out to our members. Hopefully we are able to get back on track with our normal schedule.
