yes but there not very good, they move to much,i plan to feed them to my greensunfish is that ok.Cool stuff, Tony! Here are some ID's:
I couldn't figure out the snail (looks a bit like some Elimia species) or the bug on the upper left. Do you have any more pics of those guys?

the stone fly was in every pool of water over three feet deep.maybe they did'nt freeze out.there are some pretty neat fish up in those backwaters up there. really neat to see a stonefly, I never caught them on a regular basis in the area, they do seem more common in the winter though.

THANKS NEWT, on a side note there was two ohio state people there collecting today as well.Yes, much better. The bug is a different type of stonefly, the snail is a pond or "pouch" snail (family Physidae).

the other type of snails shell open on the other side(right) and has a pointed tip.they were
all they collected was snails.they did ask if i was from around the area and did i see any changes
i said yes i have the river is lower now a days
and the clams/mussels have very thin shells now
as a boy there shells were 3/8"
plus the frogs are gone.
i dont see the beavers anymore like we use to.
and theres only one or to types of craw fish now
