If it's anything like the one for NY it won't include every species in Ohio but its the only one of its kind that I'm aware of.

I've been trying to find something that will live through being submerged with no luck. Best I've come up with is the idea above and a waterproof dive bag to keep it in while you're not using it.

I have that book for Ohio, and the one for Pennsylvania also. They are very incomplete. For example, there is only one darter in the Pennsylvania book. You WILL be disappointed. I agree with those who say to get a spare Peterson's Field Guide.This sounds about right for what you're looking for.
