One of my Striped Shiners (Luxilus chrysocephalus)
is a very nervous fish if you walk past the tank to fast he freaks out and tries to jump out of the tank.
yesterday this very thing happened and he hit the top of the tank so hard it knocked him out cold for about 2-3 minutes now today his balance is out he lists to the side and swims at a 45 deg angle in small tight circles instead of horizontal like normal.i dont think he will make till morning.

That's a shame. Was he with other shiners or similar shoaling species? If not then in the future it would be best to keep them in groups, they'll feel more comfortable and less stressed out.
