Congradulations Brian. By the way that next 50 may not be as hard as you think. Wish I had filled out a report on my spawn last year. The fry from that spawn have now spawned and their eggs hatched. Guess I need to quit procrastinating.

Sorry for being so slow to reply. I was off of the forum for a few days. The next fish I plan to breed are Red Shiners (Cyprinella lutrensis) and Sand Shiners (Notropis stramineus). I have a few male Red Shiners that are absolutely out-of-this-world. I think that I only have one female, though, and she isn't gravid yet. Regarding the Sand Shiners, I have females that are gravid, and I think that I have a male, but no spawning has occurred yet. I think I'll have to set them up in their own tank.

Fill-out that form if you can. I still have to fill one out for my Bluefin Killies (Lucania goodei). They had one fry. I guess that counts. I still want to try to get them to have more fry.

I will fill it out. I have the records from when they spawned. I know once they started I was getting around 200 eggs every 2 - 3 weeks, Of course I had around 8 - 10 grownups too.
By the way my parents from last year are in the Children Museum's indoor pond and they are spawning in it too. Some of the fry there are actually able to feed and hide till big enough to fend for themselves.
