Well I got bored today and it was my day off from work so I decided to take advantage of this lovely weather and go collecting for a couple hours at the gorge. I took the 45 min trip this morning with high expectations but came back with not much to show. Anyways, I caught a lot of minnows(bluntnose and blacknose I think) but didnt really want to keep any so i didnt take any pictures. One creek was full of banded sculpins. And the two that I brought back came out of one little creek with both sandy and gravel bottom. I already have a couple rainbows but couldnt pass up on this one. The other I was told is a johnny darter. Being my first one, I wasnt sure, but was told there were quite a few in that area.
This was one of the many banded sculpins that I caught

Wow! Sounds like you had a great time! Nice fish to show for it, too! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks BT, yeah I enjoyed the trip. I just went by myself and just drove around some of the main roads until i found some accessible creeks. The river was high, so didnt do to much with the river. But all in all, I had a good, next time I will have to go with josh and john. They know where the good spots are!
