This has nothing to do with fish .

I've been MIA for several months. Some of you have contacted me about scrap netting and such and I am sure you wonder why there was no reply.

I had a big ol' lump on my thyroid . I thought it was something left over from a bad cold this winter....but surprise , surprise.
Couldn't talk most of the time, couldn't swallow decent food, and the meds that they used to shrink it really messed me up every night. Luckily it wasn't the "bad boy" they thought it was.

It comes out in a week or so. 5 days down time and I'll have a voice like Lorne Green or deeper but life will be good , nets will roll out of the shop, researchers will be catching yoyo's and I'll be just in time for those big platters of fried shrimp every Friday afternoon.

If you emailed or called and I was delinquent, my apologies.....I was preoccupied with trying to breathe with this baseball stuck in my neck. Ha Ha!

You know, I'll charge a researcher $25 and hour for a patch job that involves maybe a 2 Meter rip in his net.
These surgeons are going to charge $3,000 and hour for an 6" cut....hmmmmmmmm is it too late to go back to school?

sa va,
netmaker

Sounds like there's room in that market for an enterprising do-it-yerselfer. Irate should be ready for the occasion. :-({|=

I'm glad you'll be back in action soon and also glad it's not the "bad boy". I hope you recover soon and let me know when you get caught up. I need to add a few thing to list I sent to you.

Will do. I apologize for the delay. I tried to work but when I couldn't breathe any more, it just messed up my work day. I got so far behind on my gov. work i lost touch with everything and everybody.

Can you give me call or email in late May.... I will have the floats and some more choice peices of netting as those Missouri Trawls (Armadillo Nets) are extremely popular this year and we will have some nice chunks left over.

If I lose my voice due to the operation, I will apply for a stimulus check as the ABSOLUTE ONLY MUTE NET MAKER IN THE USA . Ha ha!

Greg
