I collected a sample of Notropis in a PA stream and when I looked under the scope at the preserved vouchers I noticed multiple specimens had lateral lines that forked or branched laterally, horizonatly, and some swirled. It was unique to me... Just curious if others may have come across other cyprinids where this happens. I was thinking mutation during growth.
