Well i decide to look for some pike at the Wye River, however the pike would bite or even show themselves. However, the carp were getting ready to "get in the mood", and there was even a bowfin or 2. So i decided to go after something I could actually catch with what I had with me, Pumpkinseed, since my UL was in my dad's car trunk. I ended up getting 8 colorful p-seeds, the biggest was 6 1/2", but there was one down there that had to be at leat 7 1/2" long, possibly over 8". This one (the biggest) Ive never quite seen the shape of before, and coloration is a little unique to around here (most p-seeds are brighter bodied), but it's def. a p-seed because there are no other lepomis species around here (lucky me :cool2: )

I plan on using this part of the forum later when I go to collect some mudminnows, as well as when i go to build my dip net for that trip
