General questions:

1.

At what stage in a freshwater fish's life do the , barbles, whiskers , lateral lines etc. really kick in and start telegraphing strong enough signals to a fish's brain to move away from an object?

  • Does this happen while they still have egg sacks attached?
  • Does it happen while they are YOYO's?
  • Does it happen immediately at birth?
Any studies? Comments?

2.

Does color make a differnce in YOYO net avoidance?

white, green, black, being the basic ones involved?

Any studies or comments here?
