On Saturday, June 20, I will be leading a group from the Greater Pittsburgh Aquarium Society, Inc (GPASI) on a tour of some sites in the Lower Allegheny HUC. We will be starting in the Allegheny River, and then heading into some tributary and headwater streams. I can promise a look at some interesting and rare fish, including a ten darter riffle. (I've found ten different darter species in that riffle, including four state listed species not accounted for on the NatureServe list, although never all ten at once. A couple weeks ago, I found nine of the ten, all but the logperch.) All are welcome. If you're interested in participating, shoot me a PM. For more information, follow this thread:

That sounds great! My hubby is from Pittsburgh, maybe I can talk him into a trip home!

Man, that sounds great Ed. Wish I could come out that way, but we'll be traveling in North Carolina that weekend. Have a good time, I'm sure you will.

This had to be postponed until this coming Sunday (July 19) due to thunderstorms. So it's not too late...
