As soon as my new guys are settled in I am going to change my ten from sand to a large gravel like yours. I love the looks of that. It just looks so clean and natural. Nice collection as always.

Where was that newt collected at? I'm presuming that is a Notophthalmus.
I'd like to see some more pics of that one.

Absolutly love the P. welaka also.

It was collected down here in south Louisiana, I think it is Notophthalmus viridescens louisianensis, the central newt. They very common in some of the bayous around here. I will post some more pics.

You have lots of darters I have never seen before. I would love to get out of the Great Lakes Drainage and see some new fish.

The SE is a native keeper's Mecca. Especially AL and TN.

That fish has a very strange name - bluenose shiner. You ought to see them when they are colored up in the Spring. They are a species of special concern in MS.
