Cool Newts 
Very much appear to be the Central subspecies. Pic in the last post caught my attention as it looked really dark in color. Newts have to be my favorite of salamanders, their life history is really remarkable.

They apper to be highly variable in coloration. I have seen bright red/reddish orange to that dark brown. I am hoping they will mate and she will lay eggs next year.

Nice pictures, I used to keep newts as well, very interesting critters.
