Wow! great pics! Did you just get a water-proof housing? Those pics are incredibly clear! Thanks for sharing.
Where were you? You must be in a great place. Looks like the logperch are Mobile logperch!
First few pics are stonerollers, and the sunnie looks to be a green.
I am stumped with the darter though - kinda resembles the bridled darter (I don't know what it's called anymore...
Anyways, awesome pics!

very cool underwater shots!!!
the logperch looks kinda like a darter from my area of ohio.
do you swim by yourself or does someone keep a watch on the land for you?
the few times i have snorkled it felt so out of touch with the world we live in.

Cool pics! How deep was the water in that river? I have problems getting clear shots in most of the river/creeks around here...

Vahry nice-ah!

It's still the bridled darter, Percina kusha. They are really tough to get to stay in place, so nice shot! :)

It was loads of fun. I actually caught a trout on a very small fly before I decided to swim. The stream is a "trout stream" that flows into Lake Allatoona, although the water is getting too warm for the trout. I saw a large spotted bass trying to eat an undoubtedly exhausted rainbow in a slower section. With the summer temps on the rise the spots are reclaiming thier habitat quickly. A month ago I saw no bass of any kind, today I saw 5 or 6 in the 1 lb range and some massive sunfish on bed. Thanks for the ID on the stonerollers! I thought it was a green sunfish as well. I think the deepest parts are probably a little deeper than waist deep on me but I am 6' 1". Its a beautiful creek!

BTW I have caught a few stonerollers for my aquarium but I cannot keep these guys alive! Last time they seemed to literally explode after a few hours in the tank! I wonder if it was just the temperature difference? I would really like some in my tank tho.

My advice on the stonerollers is not to take any home until cooler weather comes. A lot of minnows just don't do well with being collected from warm water (except for striped shiners...).
