Just wanted to say hello. I am a new NANFA member and am so excited that I found this organization.I am from the Western NY area, about 10 minutes from Niagara Falls and situated 5 minutes from Lake Erie and the Niagara River, 25 minutes from lake ontario (Plenty of fun collecting sites im sure once I find them) I have been collecting tropicals for awhile, but am somewhat new to natives. I have a fish room which includes 12 tanks at the moment. Hopefully there are some folks around my area to go collecting with. Look forward to meeting all of you.

I just returned from Niagara Falls. Naturally, I was curious about what fish might be in the river, both above and below the falls. While most of the rapids above the falls are WAY too dangerous, between the Three Sisters Islands looks very safe and seineable, there might be some interesting darters in there, and although it is a state park (public property), I'm guessing seining there would not be allowed. Regardless, if anybody has any information as to what fish might be in the area, I would be really grateful to know.

Welcome aboard!
