I was going through some pics of my babies today and decided to get some new pics. It is amazing how much different they look now! I have some baby pics of them from when I JUST got them. The pics are really bad though.

First: pics of when I just got my bowfin in the beginning of July.

I am done now! I might have went a BIT crazy but I really wanted to see how my fish have progressed. I didn't know how else to do it so I made a thread here. Thanks for letting me share.

For life I don't think I would go anything under 72"x30" (240 gallon I think). That is still pretty small. They get to be monsters! I might be making a 8'x8' pond in my basement for him this spring. IDK if this is true about all (all that I have seen) but they seem to be really skiddish and jumpy. MAX size for males is still like 24"-30" I think. Sorry that this isn't very solid info but I have seen anywhere from 48" to 10". Pretty sure males only get about 24" though.
