I know there are a few of us from NoVA on here. Anyone interested in getting out one of these weekends? If you do, say so, and what you want to see/get.

If you are making it a stream-ish tank, there are a number of species that we can get.

I'm hoping the MD guys can also make it down.

I'm out every day of the week almost...just not for fun. I'm sure I'll need a break fromt he work and house pretty soon and can do a day trip somewhere relatively close.

Basically I've got two dollars and a black spotted sunnie that I need to make a home for so anything that would do well with them. I've always envied Farmer Todd's "Ultimate Native Fish Aquarium" and would love to head that direction. I've got some odds and ends minnows and a handfull of seminole killies as well, but they're pretty easy to fit in with the tropicals. I also have a high-flow tank for some hillstream loaches I ended up with in the works but I don't think a lot of the species around here would need that sort of flow.
