Welcome to the forum, Ben! I hope that you find your stay both informative and enjoyable! I, unfortunately, am from Wisconsin. So I can't help you with finding NANFA members in your area. I hope you're able to find some, though. Welcome!
Thanks for the warm welcome. Well, so far I know that there is my son, and I, and we regularly have a great time collecting, but hopefully we'll find some contemporaries out here sometime. Unfortunately some of Nevada's most interesting fish are also some of the world's most endangered, The Devil's Hole pupfish. Aside from them, we have a couple Chub species, Lahontan Redside Shiners, a small variety of minnows, but most Fatheads, and the Speckled Dace. High on our list of natives to collect have been the Paiute Sculpin though. It is about as close as we'll ever get to a Darter here in Nevada. And as mentioned in one of my earlier posts also, the Sacramento Perch has essentially become my "White Whale", and I truly hope to keep and captively breed them while they still aren't a listed species of any kind.
