Hey there.
You pretty much have to add them all at once or the first ones will bully the rest. i actually just recently had one little brookie warming up my 50G and when I added more he was a little terror. All collected from a small ditch too that is teeming with these guys, so I assume once they have a territory they dont take nothing from no-one. They take flake food pretty easily, but will also eat small insects, and other little things. Neat little fish to watch as they love to be busy. They like weedy areas, so if you are wanting to match their habitat, i would have a nice amount of plants (fake I presume, unless this is a planted), and a few little areas where each can have their own zone when needed. They also love to pick on other fish species, no matter what size. Lots of personality.

This is all in my experience, others may have had different experiences.
