Chub of some sort... the gold flashes on the sides make me want to say creek chub... but I do not see any spot on the anterior base of the dorsal fin, which is usually a strong indication... so maybe a nocomis of some sort? Where was it collected form?

It's a cutlip minnow, Exoglossum maxillingua. Good thing for you it was not an under legal sized trout that you thought you might have and brought home.

You can see the jaw features that ID it as a cutlips minnow in the last photo and not a tongue-tied minnow.
