It seems like my pickerel is getting slow and sloppy when he is hunting. Yesterday it took him like 5-6 shots a piece at his feeders. I think I am just letting him get too fat. Just wondering what your guys opinion on this is. You think there is something wrong with him or is he just getting fat. That was one of the rare occasions that I fed him two days in a row also.

He might be too fat, or it could be behavioral. If you were trapped in a relatively little space with guaranteed pizza delivery every once in a while, you might lose your "predatory instinct" too :P What is his normal feeding regimen?

Well nothing right now...I had an outbreak in my feeder tank and I havent fed him in about a week. I am using this opportunity to get him on shrimp though. It might just work too. I have had him strike a few times.
