sculpin parasite

One of my sculpins died today. I found a parasite under the skin along with some circular sores, I made a small incision to remove the parasite and it was over half the length of the fish! Any idea on the ID? Should I treat the other fish for parasites?

i think aquarium salt helps to prevent parasites.
