Can anyone ID this fish? I caught three of these off of some bream beds. I was catching bluegill and red ears off of the same beds, but these 3 looked different. This one appears to have more bluegill in it. The other 2 looked to have more red ear. What do you think?

I would say redear x bluegill hybrid. When the male hybrid are pumped as a function of breeding activity, they get darker making the fish favor in appearance the bluegill parent.

Possibly, where are you located? Those hybrids are normally cut and paste. That ear is quite elongated for a redear x bluegill.
I'd be interested to see what centrarchid has to say.
