has any one ever collected/sampled this section of the river?

I haven't gotten down that far yet Tony, but plan to this fall. It's pretty banged up from upstream of Springfield. It goes from trout stream to cesspool in about 100 feet where the first inflows occur. I'm expecting compacted substrates and low abundances further downstream, which is what I've seen elsewhere on the Great Miami where those types of dikes are in place. It's a little more aesthetic than a concrete bedded river, but it's not much different, unfortunately.

I hope to be pleasantly proven wrong :)

todd, i did a walkabout for maybe 100 yards only fish i saw was creekchubs by the 100's
on the small feeder creek right by the base.
