Hello everyone. Just found out about here. I'm from around Akron. I've been keeping fish for 6 or 7 years. No natives, yet.

Brian Zimmerman spoke on sun fish at the GAAS meeting last night. Very good presentation, got me interested in sun fish now. So, instead of making the next bigger tank I get South American black water, I might opt to do sun fish instead.

Hello, welcome aboard. You will like NANFA and its forum. Once you get looking in the streams you will really like what you find and will probably get hooked on Natives. I was into African Cichlids and once I started seining I sold all my breeding cichlids and have kept natives ever since.

Hey Amazon, cool that you're around here too.

I'll have to try to find some natives some day around here, bluegills are no where near short in supply around here.

Welcome to the board. This is a great place for beginners and veterans as there are so many people with extensive amounts of knowledge and experience to help. Look forward to seeing a native tank get up and running.
