I was underthe impression this was a Northern Pike but not so sure anymore, looks different from teleost pictoral ID forum

Note that the cheeks and opercle are fully scaled which would make this a pickerel.
Looks to me like Esox americanus Grass pickerel.

Thanks for the response, I checked some photos and your definetly right. I was hoping they were northerns but since they only get like 10 inches i guess they dont have to be in me 360 anymore.
