Anybody have any advice on where to find these? We need a few them for an upcoming project. I prefer the Texas side of Caddo, but also have the permits to get them in LA. If you can PM me any confirmed locations, it would be greatly appreciated. I've been in that area before, but water was high and seining/electrofishing was tough. We came away with no P. hubbsi and many bruised shins. I'll be back out for another try in a week.

I think May
when the adults have moved into spawning territory and mode
would be the best time to catch Hubbsi.

Often, a fish will put most of their energy into breeding
during breeding season
which
1) leaves little energy for maintaining their bodies leading to death
or
2) taking risks which lead to many of these fish being eaten by other bigger fish.

Having loved and being lost
is better than never having loved at all.
