Then I seen this little guy scurry across my path so I had to take a picture of him.
Then of course I catch something I always seem to catch Rock Bass. You can see what I was using, a Custom Jigs'n'Spins ice fishing jig with a Gulp Waxie, worked excellent on the river.
Of course more wildlife.
I caught some common shiners, I'm considering getting some for my 20 gal since they grow to the max size of 5-7".
I also caught a creek chub in spawning colors, too bad it came off before i could get a pic of it. But I caught something new today. When I first caught it, I thought it was a creek chub until I looked at the coloration and the way the mouth was.
I am pretty sure this is a Hornyhead Chub, although I'm probably wrong. For Chub there are only Creek and Horneyhead Chub in Huronia (a small peninsula on the SE part of Georgian Bay, Lake Simcoe sits SE of Huronia). At least there should only be Creek and Hornyhead Chub. Any ideas on the fish on the bottom pics? They had a blue-greenish stripe that the camera took away except near where the tail is.
