iceing tanks ?

The past cople days have goten warm in the apt. so to chill the darter tank i freeze 1 gallon ziplok bags of tank water. watch the temp till it hits 70-72 then refreeze
anyone else do this? Also do you see any problems?

I had to ice tanks too, you can also cool them with more frequent water changes. lately weather is getting cooler so ice is no longer an issue.

That's a good way to do it. Try not to let the temperature swing up and down too much if you can.
