I collected this plant from the South fork of the KY River on Saturday. The temp is still quite warm in the South Fork and I noticed this plant was found in a deep riffle area which would be highly oxygenated. This plant was attached to many rocks in that riffle. The leaves are green and the vine part is a reddish color. Anyways, anybody know what it is and any care advice?

It looks like some kind of java moss.

Looks to me like Podostemum sp. Common name is riverweed. Could be P. ceratophyllum, but there are several species.

I agree with UncleWille; looks like Podostemum, perhaps ceratophyllum. I've tried to grow it twice. Did not have any luck, even under relatively strong lighting. But that was in Georgia when our apartment got pretty warm in the summertime.
