very cool site, complete with info on the fish (name, status, habitat and feeding, spawning and nursery, size and age, ontario records and notes about the fish) and a handy range map :cool2:

awesome thanks! I'm not ontario, but close enough that most of these fish are here too

yea the nice thing is that it has the info on the fish, so its easy to get necessary information about the fish with just a quick click on the fish species your looking at

Pretty slick link there Panfisher.

Thanks for posting it. I've put it to use already.

Interesting to note how some species are found widely separated from themselves ... in SW Ont, then nothing all the way over to the Thunder Bay area .. always wondered how that happens.

or like the Grass Pickerel where they are all GTA-south and then theres the Severn River population. It probably has to do with the Manitoba populations that have gone east into Thunder Bay (your oberservation)
