i am really interested in these things so i have a few questions

Has anyone ever kept these?

Does anyone find them a lot/ if so we could try to trade or something

Does anyone know of a place in louisiana where they are located.

Im most interested in the branching ones.

I've tried on a few occasions to keep them, first with a wild specimen, then with a leftover specimen my biology department had ordered for my invertebrate zoology class. Neither did well or lasted very long. I don't see why they would be so difficult to keep, but I didn't have any luck.

My experience very limited but they can be kept in green water with modest water movement. The type of plankton may also be important. Diatoms I think are best. Be prepared to dissable filtration.
