My name is Scott, and I am very new to this very interesting hobby. It started in late September when I accidentally caught 2 bluegill fry while trying to trap crayfish. My roomate convinced me to bring them back to my dorm to try keeping them, and have been thriving ever since(their tanks are kinda small right now but I am really close to finally getting a 55 gallon from a friend of mine). Since then I have also acquired a green sunfish and some banded killifish! Here's some pics:

Here's the tank that has a bluegill and green sunny(both about 1.5") and 3 killies that measure about 1". Please don't criticize, I understand it is small and this was initially only going to be for crayfish. Like I've said...that 55 gallon is almost mine

welcome here! I see you have already contributed to the forum, but its good to post an intro thread anyways.

Beautiful fish, and good job making a little critter tank look quite nice. Can't wait to see what your 55 will look like.

I'm please with how it turned out as well. I really can't wait to get this 55 gallon. The green sunfish and bluegill are staring each other down...
