need ID for a fundulus sp. and a catfish

I have never seen a Brown Bullhead with white chin barbels, and never read about one either.
As for the second Bullhead:
Florida also has Spotted & Snail Bullheads, what part of Florida did you ceatch the second one?
You can't tell from the photo but the Spotted & Snail Bullheads have a nerrow black edge on the fins.


all my collecting is done in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. that specific fish was collected in a canal
on Orange Dr west of Pine Island in Broward.
the canal had a mud bottom and i also caught fat sleepers and tadpole madtoms, as well as about another 20 species!

Looks like you are out of the range for Spotted & Snail Bullheads
