I have finaly bred them

here's a list of steps I took

1. kept tank of 7(3 males,4 females) yellowfins (10 gal) at 78degrees
2.take heater out
3. wait 1 month
4. put heater in
5.build mound of gravel in tank
6. treat babies as would any egg scaterer
7. have culture of infusoria
8. presto baby yellowfins
9. dont be like me any only feed them prepared food
I only have 5 left because of that

If you got those Shiners from Greenville Co., those are considered redfinned yellowfins.

Well some Greenville does have orange fins

Yellowfins all have stunning breeding dress; only if they put on their dress on other occasion.....
