Found it in a Rosey Red tank. No idea where it could of originated from. Store was in Northern Delaware. Black line runs horizontal. Best pic I could offer because I can't catch a pic of it in the water. Too fast.

I got that far. Also am sure it is a water breather.

What information would help get us further? I do not have a lot to offer because like I said, I found it in the feeder tank at LFS. I am thinking it is probably Phoxinus phoxinus.

Could be a well-fed or gravid Bluntnose Minnow (Pimephales notatus).

I feel silly now just finding out fathead minnows and rosy reds are one and the same.

Do I see a redish caudal fin?
What shape is the head?
Is it blunt, or more pointed?
