Hello, last week I purchased 15 Nerite snails to help with my algae problem. Problem is, about 10 of the little buggers stayin one group and it doesn't appear that they want to partake of the available smorgasbord-- its even "all you can eat".The water temp is 74F. Am I looking at a problem?

Have you got at least 50 ppm Ca-Mg hardness, preferably more? Nerites dont like very soft water, nor low pH.
Add some crushed coral or aragonite if either hardness or pH is too low. Treat them like a molly.
