Any one with experience with rearing troutperch and / or sand rollers? I appear to have hit limit concerning knowledge of pirate perch and next want to explore some relatives that might have been cultured.

I have no such info. However, I was under the impression that the relationship of Percopsis to the pirate perch/cavefish group was not well supported. I know swampfish have been bred in captivity, but I don't know how helpful that will be.

Swampfish would be very informative as they are close kin to pirater perch. Where can I find the swampfish information? What little info I have concerning troutperch indicates they reproduce using similar methods to pirate perch and their offspring are also large. They also look similar.
