It pretty much checks out as a female E. gracile but it looks unlike the skinny E. gracile I've seen in Illinois.

Back in March, Blake and I sampled this fish from a small trib of the Forked Deer River in Tennessee.
It pretty much checks out as a female E. gracile but it looks unlike the skinny E. gracile I've seen in Illinois.
ID help would be appreciated.

I would agree, slough darter it is!It looks a bit lighter and fatter thn I've seen but E.Gracile it is.
