Mark, Mike and myself got out a couple of weeks ago and I thought I'd post some pics.
The weather here has been spectacular compared to last year and I'm very grateful.

It didn't photo well Lance, but many of the sand darters (Eastern) had rather iridescent blue heads.

Wow, these are great Uland. I really like the Sand Darter shot. That's a species that I haven't encountered yet. It is really different looking for a darter. It kind of looks like a cross between a darter and a silverside.

Nice photos Uland. I'm sorry for bailing out and hope to meet up sometime soon. Nice to finally see fantastic photos of the Illinois E. blennioides!
