Hello everyone

I am a transplant from the Aqua-Bids forum. I have had an interest in native fishes and other critters of the water world of North America, since I first started watching "water skippers" skitter around in our ditches as a small boy. On other posters from the fore-mentioned site recommended this one, so here I am.

I am currently interested in darters and skulpins. I also like to collect invasives. I am also a fly fisherman, who ties his own flies, so the I collect various insects and tie for the differing stages in their hatches. I also enjoy history. Particularly the detailed histories of specific waterways. I try to learn as much as I can about the back ground of the various locations that I visit.

That is basically me in a nut shell. I look forward to meeting you all.

welcome to the forums...just looking quick at nature serve it looks like you are in sculpin heaven. just glancing at nature serve it looks like there isn't any darters in Idaho. sadly. doesn't mean you cant acquire them! enjoy the site
