I had the pleasure of visiting North Carolina, in the Raleigh, Durham area, this past April. I owe a lot to Nanfa regional rep, Gerald, for making my visit a success. Southern hospitality is alive and well. I met
so many wonderful folks, and saw many new sites, and fishes! The fish that I collected inspired me to set up a new 55 gallon, and most of the fish I collected made it back to Long Island and are thriving.

- Sorry I don't seem to be able to import these photo's after all - I'll have to try again in the future (arrrghhh.)

I'm glad you were able to meet up with fellow NANFA members to fish and gab about fish. Gabbing is a close second to fishing as far as I'm concerned:smile2:
I'm also glad the fish made it home in good condition.

I want to remind you that NANFA members can join the NANFA Gallery and upload fishy photos there. You can then post these images here.
Please just let me know if you have any questions about joining the gallery or posting the images here.

Here's a couple photographs from the NC trip. I've registered to make a gallery account and will post the rest there.
Pictured is a Nanfa member with a big redhorse we seined out of a relatively tiny pool. That gal could fish!
Also, a nice crescent shiner which alive and well in my tank at home.
ENJOY.
