Does anyone know of some in-depth larval fish ID books/guides?

Get your hands on hard copy of the following- identification of larval fish of the great lakes basin, with emphasis on MI drainages (Auer 1982). Info can be found at the following site. http://techalive.mtu...ishid/index.htm
The hard copy is valuable and is likely still available through the Great Lakes Fishery Commission. If you have a sample narrowed down and need a couple pages scanned, let me know.

I did a bit more digging. Call the number at the top of the weblink to inquire about getting a copy of GLFC Special Pub 82-3, it is not available online. http://www.glfc.org/pubs/pub.htm

Sounds great. I'll let you know how it turns out for our research group.

It is pretty informative. When I searched that paper, I also found this cool website http://access.afsc.n...remersearch.cfm
