I took an environmental consulting job for the summer and happened to end up in upper WI and will be going to MN. Anyone have advice on a few good seining spots, and a decent field guide I could use to identify some of the species. I'm not familiar with sticklebacks or any of the 3 or more dace species I've seen. My colleague is a good sport and goes with me, but I wouldn't mind getting out with someone that knows the area. Thanks for the information!

Evan is an enthusiastic member from MN. He seems to always be working on new tank set ups. Here is his profile. http://forum.nanfa.o...236-yeahson421/

Thanks for the shout out, Matt! Hi Draros, I am indeed Evan and am from MN. I'm not entirely sure where you'll be in MN, but it sounds like you'll be a good distance away from my location. However, I will be making a few northern trips this summer and will be sure to keep you in the loop. If you ever want to come down and see the beautiful driftless region, let me know! I can effectively show you quite a few spots for some interesting species. Also, I will go through my contacts and see if there is anyone up your way. Send me a PM and we'll figure all of this out! I hope you have a good time in the state!
