I caught this fish on Sunday in Maryland, Smithville Lake.  This lake is fed by a tributary of Marshyhope Creek, some headwaters in Delaware.  Past electroshocking reports have shown the existence of redears.  I believe this sunfish to be the redear sunfish, Lepomis microlophus, and was wondering if you all agree?

Thanks.

I agree. That is a redear.

I couldn't before. But I think it was my server at work. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for clarifying Michael.  I was worried that my Photobucket account was going bonkers again...  Glad your server seems OK.  I do appreciate people letting me know.  I had to pay money to gain more space for my zillions of pictures  ](*,)

Thank you all for your confirmation!  I greatly appreciate it!

You know that as a NANFA member you could have an account on the Gallery Archive (see on the button bar At the top of the forum) for free for all your fishy picture? This is a benefit open to NANFA members only.

Thank you Michael for the tip.  I think that I'll take advantage of it.  I need Photobucket for other things though, but from what I've seen, using the NANFA Gallery is good advertising for us.

My angling "life list" is currently a Photobucket album.  This seems like a good project to move here, plus, pics from my new stream tank build once that goes in full gear (very soon).
