SC DNR has put out a survey to canvas public opinion regarding proposals/options to protect inshore Cobia populations.

http://www.dnr.sc.go...mrri/cobia.html

The first few questions are of the demographic gathering type. Around #9 they get to putting options out there for feedback. Among the options are increased size limit, a new slot size limit, a catch and release season, et cetera. I'd link you directly to those questions, but as I have taken the survey already it won't let me back to those pages.

If you have knowledge of, or an interest in, Cobia please examine and maybe take the survey. Also, if I may ask, what is your overall view of the topic? I tended to favor the slot limit option and "more aggressive" approaches.
