Here's what I see:

4-8 Carolina fantail darter

9, 13, 23-25 tesselated darter

11, 14-16, 22 greenhead shiner

12, 21 rosyside dace

26-27 white sucker

1-3 I really have no idea

10 a Pimephales maybe, or a distorted shot of a white sucker

17-20, 28-30  gaunt, about to die Carolina fantail

Couple new species for you there.

Suckers are hard to tell (maybe white), but you got some fantail darters, too.  Aret eh other shiners saffron? greenheads?  Dustin beat me!

Willie, he's a long way from saffron territory.  Those are greenheads.  I agree on the sucker.  I am speculating white.

First minnow might be hypsinotus the Highback chub (genus in dispute - maybe Hybopsis, Notropis ...?) or if not that then possibly Whitemouth shiner.

Fantail and Tesselated darters.  Did you find any seagreens? Small seagreens look intermediate (to me) between Fantail and Tessie, but adults are obvious.

Rosyside dace and "Broad River Greenhead" shiner (which may be an intergrade between true Greenhead (Catawba) and Yellowfin shiners)

Keep an eye out for Thicklip chub -- another odd little minnow i've seen around Shelby.  Greenfin and Fieryblack shiners too.

I didn't see any seagreens but I looked today as well. Got another Carolina Fantail today and maybe a redlip shiner and a northern hog sucker. Posting the pics today. I tried all day to get that thicklip chub, got some kind of fish today that may be it, will post pics. Thanks for the id's.

By the way that was the place you told me about, the first broad river. There is a little creek also that was full of Darters. It's not a very well known spot so its really good. Thanks for the heads up. I am hitting up the next two places next week.
